So you've been to Gospel Roads and you want to get more involved?
Then applying to be part of the Young Team is just what you're looking for!

If you've already graduated from high school, or you're about to graduate this coming May/June, and you've been to Gospel Roads before, then you're eligible to apply for a spot on the young team for any of this summer's Gospel Roads I programs!

Being part of the Young Team is an incredibly rewarding experience!
In addition to assisting the Adult Team in planning the retreat, you will be helping the run the Gospel Roads program! You'll be interacting with your peers in small groups throughout the course of the week. You'll be leading discussions about faith, life, service, and social justice with your brothers and sisters walking the "Gospel Road" with you! You'll have opportunities to share about your own experiences of faith and service. You'll also be leading and accompanying the group in moments of prayer throughout the week.

Sounds great, right? Here are some things to keep in mind:

• First and foremost, remember that this is an application, not registration form! You will receive a message within a few days of applying to confirm that we received your application. Acceptance/Rejection notifications will be sent out March 1, 2012.
• Requirements
  • You must have graduated from high school by the start date of the program
    (ie: you must be in your high school's Class of 2012 or earlier).
  • Past participation in a Gospel Roads I program is required.
    Past participation in a Gospel Roads II program is encouraged, but not mandatory.
  • Depending on the needs of each program, you may be asked to arrive at the host site 1-2 days before the official start of the program to help the Adult Team prepare everything. If you know you won't be able to arrive early, and you can't apply for another program, please let us know at the end of the application - it won't automatically make you ineligible for Young Team. We want you to be able to serve, and we want to work with you to make that happen!
